An all new concept, separating the speed reduction unit and torque amplifying gearbox from the spindle and its bearings. This is definitely the right concept for the future as far as professional production drilling is concerned.
In combination with a spindle unit, there is nothing else on the market with a comparable powerful and smooth performance. The MG41 gearbox and ST2/3 spindle units can be driven by a HF-motor or a hydraulic motor.
All shafts and gears are made from the same steel we use in our race-car competition gearboxes. All gears are precision machined for highest accuracy. It runs with a very high efficiency even at the highest loads, and provided oil changes are done in a clean environment, and at recommended intervals, the gearbox will last for many years.
